Junior Designer Needed @ MLB Creative

MLB Creative is looking to hire a Junior Designer.

Key Responsibilities

1. Has a good eye for design and strong online and offline design skills
2. Support more senior designers and art directors by creating designs using an established look and feel
3. Build some or all of the following:

• Print Ads
• Online Ads
• Collateral
• Signage – indoor and outdoor

4. Help support a creative team on a pitch, pulling together design elements and working with a more senior designer
5. Create a mock up prior to presentation
6. Search for imagery, video or audio under the art direction of a more senior designer
7. Attend creative meetings and work with the creative overseer / brand guardian to ensure all work is of a high standard
8. Ensure current client work is kept ‘on brand’
9. Have a keen eye for detail and great communication skills
10. Keep up to speed with industry innovations and trends
11. Ensure that work is completed within time and budget, raising any concerns at the outset of a project
12. Proactively contribute, or otherwise assist where required

Qualities and personal characteristics

1. Experience in Design for both Online or Offline Media
2. Knowledge in any combination of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (basic HTML desired but not required)
3. Able to balance great design with meeting deadlines
4. Hungry to learn and improve on an existing skill set
5. Educated to degree level in graphic design, interaction design, fine arts, or a related design discipline or equivalent industry experience.
