Martha Lent places first in Red Chair Affair Project

folio10b-new.jpgWe’re excited to announce that one of our instructors, Martha Lent, as placed first in Orlando’s Red Chair Affair Project. Martha was one of 16 Central Florida visual artists whose work was chosen for display and sale in August at the annual Red Chair Affair fundraising gala. The Orlando Sentinel has published an article detailing the Red Chair Project and Martha’s participation in this year’s project online in, “Red Chair Affair winner works in layers of inspiration”.

Martha Lent currently teaches the illustrating course at Valencia. To find out more about Martha’s work you can view her online portfolio at www.marthalentstudios.com.

    YAY!!!! Way to go. For all of you who do not know Martha Lent... you need to! She inspired me to take my work to a new level by incorporating organic art and computer design. I also found a huge love for illustration in her class, as you can all see by looking at my work. Thanks Martha, and great work as always.
