FDG {creative} is looking for a Rock Star Interactive (Web) Professional

FDG {creative} was founded in 2002 and is located in downtown Orlando, 1 block north of the YMCA in the Colonialtown neighborhood. We serve public and private sector clients throughout the United States encompassing a variety of industries including education, real estate, professional B2B services, and more.

Position:  Interactive (Web) Professional
Education:  Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation:                  

  • Full-time salaried position – salary negotiable, based upon experience
  • Additional quarterly performance incentive pay bonus structure because we believe if we successfully collaborate to create good work, we should share in the profit

Position begins:  Immediately – we will work with a candidate who needs to transition from a current employer.

Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Approaching all projects with the intention of making it an award winner
  • 5+ years experience developing, programming, supporting, managing and implementing websites and content
  • Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in programming and web development
  • Developing custom websites, mobile sites, and applications to meet project needs
  • Working collaboratively with the team to coordinate innovative, integrated, multichannel communication campaigns
  • Operating independently as well as with the team to design and implement solutions
  • Providing leadership and strategic direction, based on best practices on ways to increase traffic to websites that reach key audiences by creating user-friendly, relevant and responsive online experiences to engage key audiences and testing, measuring and refining strategy and tactics continuously
  • Establishing website architecture and user paths
  • Experience with working with internal team and external vendors to develop service proposals and project estimations
  • Consulting with users and project teams to determine requirements for web pages and related applications
  • Quality assurance, testing and troubleshooting
  • Learning new software/programs quickly
  • Experience and knowledge working with and creating Content Management Systems
  • Managing web projects; creating project timelines; assigning and managing appropriate staff or third-party resources to accomplish specific internet-related and website initiatives
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, growing environment and manage several projects at the same time achieving all related deadlines
  • Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analyzing, tracking and reporting web statistics and usage trends to evaluate website performance and provide recommendations for modifications of content, design, and Internet strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • Providing recommendations and direction to team on content creation, updates and enhancements to the website that support strategic initiatives, including the use of multi-media features
  • Maintaining general file structures, document templates, graphics, and other tools that are needed for websites
  • Pushing the creative and interactive envelope for the benefit of our team and the clients we serve

Mandatory program/technical experience:

  • Macintosh (Apple) platform
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • PHP/MySQL
  • Javascript/jQuery
  • Adobe Creative Suite (of Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. – version 4 or above)
  • Social media platforms and integration (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
  • Blog platforms and integration (WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr, etc.)
  • Analytics
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Hosting

Additional preferred program/technical experience:

  • Drupal
  • Joomla
  • Flash/ActionScript 2
  • Email marketing
  • Adobe AfterEffects
  • Sound editing capabilities
  • Networking / IT knowledge

Bonus experience:

  • CSS3 / HTML 5
  • Social media marketing
  • Search engine marketing

    Wow it looks actually like a dream job to me, minus the fact that is for web, and I'm about to graduate print to then start web :( either way i hope someone from VC gets it!

      Yes this sounds like an amazing job! but unfortunatly i do not plan on getting a Bachelor’s degree. I wish I had money to do so. Who ever does get this job will be very talented and very lucky. Good luck to all.
