Full Sail University
Friday, November 11th
Two workshop times available: 8:30AM – 12PM & 1:30PM – 5PM.
$50 Members and Non-Members (book included)

If you’ve been wanting to learn more about web design, the time is now. If you’re a creative director who wants to understand code a little more, you need to show up. If you just want to make a personal web site, this workshop is for you.

What to expect? There will be no lecture, no background on the history of the Internet, no boring crap that doesn’t help you build a web site. We’ll dive right in and show you how to code a site, then send you off with the tools you need to take it to the next level

This lab-style workshop was created specifically for print designers who are ready to take the next step in web design to learn a little bit of code. NOTE: This is a hands on workshop which requires you to bring your laptop.

Is this workshop for me? Do you know how to clear floats? If the answer is yes, and you actually know what that means, this workshop may be a bit basic. Otherwise, this workshop is for you.

This workshop is being put on by JD Graffam. JD Graffam runs Simple Focus, a user experience brand firm in Memphis, TN, that helps local and national brands take on the internet with simple ideas, design and technology.

JD serves his city as President of AIGA Memphis and as a director of FirstWorks, mentors eighth graders for The Grizzlies Foundation and is a graduate of the Leadership Academy of Memphis. He also speaks nationally about web design, has published a book, CSS for Print Designers, curates Pattern Tap and serves on the Editorial Review Board for Smashing Magazine.

Click here to register now as each workshop is limited to 35 people**
