I would love to be able to attend this workshop. However due to time constraints, my schedule will not allow me the opportunity. Does anyone else know if there will be another workshop such as this? Being an aspiring graphic designer, this is a great lesson. Typography is the fundamental basis of any design, and the most difficult to determine. Ilene Strizver designed more than 300 text and display typefaces. She has designed for firms such as Johnson and Johnson, Adobe, and BJ's wholesale. I would love a chance to have just a small window into her world. Please, if you know of any other upcoming workshops such as this, please post. Have a great day!!!!

I wish I could go! I know very little about typography but I do know I will need it. Now I just TOO busy with college, work and having my uncles happy while I'm living with them, but I know that as soon as I can I'll need to take something like this to get were I wanna be. I think I'll look up Ilene Strizver's book though, it sound really interesting. Oh, and I agree with Kelly and Sheng.. I want to know if is also good for beginners and when will the next workshops would be. Bye!

Hi everyone! The workshop is for anyone from recent graduates in design to professionals. If you are still in school, you will probably not get as much out of it as you would after you get a bit more experience with design as well as the software, but the first sessions would still be useful to you. I am planning on doing a series of webinars for students thru professionals in the near future, so I suggest you sign up on my web site to keep abreast of them! Ilene Strizver
