CSS Design student's work selected for the Orlando AIGA Re:Solutions Website
Holly Smith’s project, designed and built in Cliff Manspeaker’s CSS Design course of Fall 2007, has been selected as the website winner for the Orlando AIGA’s Re:Solutions Day Conference.
The Re:Solutions website was a design and production competition between students of CSS Design at Valencia Community College. As a first time effort, Cliff contacted the AIGA to see if the Re:Solutions website could be a class project for the students with the winner having their website built used as the main site for the conference. The project was a great success and the students produced work that made it tough for the AIGA to select a winner.
A big thanks goes out to Jeff Matz and Sarah Blacksher from the AIGA who took the time out of their schedules to do class critiques and provided valuable feedback to the students. Thanks to all the students that participated, Jason Cantell, Darla Dietz, Patrick Luther, Angela Scarlato, Holly Smith, and Jonathan Warren.
Congrats Holly! You can view her work and more information on the Re:Solutions Day Conference being held on January 19, 2008 at Full Sail at http://orlando.aiga.org/resolutions08.
