Copy Writer Needed at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt

The candidate for this position will be asked to edits manuscript according to project guidelines, schedules, budgets, and divisional standards of quality and accuracy; may write or rewrite portions of manuscript; proofreads copy and makes necessary corrections.

This person would also assist with project management and workflow, prepare bookmaps, request copyright information, create manuscript for covers, title pages, and copyright pages, and track manuscript.

It is desirable that this person have some editorial experience.

In addition, this person must be detail oriented, a strong communicator, and have the capacity to work on several projects at the same time.
