We have event sponsors!
So we’ve been working a lot behind the scenes to promote this week’s event with Cameron Moll, “Good Designers vs. Great Designers”, I’m sure once it’s all said and done we’ll have a lot of people to thank but I wanted to share the thrilling news that we have a few sponsors for the event. This will undoubtedly help make the event that much more successful and memorable. And yes, if you still don’t know much about Cameron then you’ll have no excuse after this week’s over, so go do your homework before the event as suggested.
Now on to our early thank you’s…
We owe a big thanks to Create Magazine, I’ve worked closely with Katrina Priore in helping post the event details in various locations on Create’s web site. I was also informed that they plan on bringing excess previous issues of the magazine to distribute to attendees along with educational discount subscriptions. This is just ANOTHER reason to attend this awesome event!
Once again, we are very gracious of the continued support of our local Orlando AIGA Chapter. Amanda Hutton and Brad Posey have went out of their way to offer their assistance with this event by offering support with refreshments and sending out email blasts. This event is a great time to network with fellow AIGA members! (Oh, and I hope you students haven’t forgotten about the AIGA Mentorship program!)
We also want to show our appreciation to Orlando’s Ad2 Chapter. Patrick Wellman has also helped set up an email blast and will offer assistance with refreshments for the event. Again – no time is better than now to mingle with other creatives in the industry, like those members of Ad2! (Don’t forget Ad2’s mentor program deadline is right around the corner too!)
Cameron, I’m confident you’ll be impressed with the caliber of the creatives here in central Florida – expect to be greeted by an enthusiatic crowd this weekend!
We expect this to be an awesome event – we hope to see you there! If you haven’t let us know you’re attending go ahead and post a comment so we get a better idea of how many people will be in attendance. Again the event is FREE to attend.
