SSTESOL Conference branding competition

Sunshine State TESOL is a non-­‐profit organization for Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages. The organization’s mission is to provide educators with access to professional development, resources, and interaction. The organization also provides leadership and advocacy in language policy issues in the state of Florida. Each year, SSTESOL holds a conference. This year the conference will take place May 16th – 18th in Orlando, Florida. We have chosen the title of our conference (Expanding Traditions: Merging Methodology and Technology), and we are now looking to create a brand around that title. We are looking to develop a conference program cover that we can use for our conference program and as advertising on our website and through our social media outlets.

Email a PDF or JPG of the finished product to James May jmay@valenciacollege.edu by the deadline: December 14th 2012.

Finalists will be chosen by the based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity
  • Quality of Workmanship
  • Creative visual representation of the conference title
  • Creative incorporation of SSTESOL Logo

 

Winner to receive:

  • $100.00 check from SSTESOL
  • Recognition in the conference program, on the website, & through SSTESOL’s social media outlets.
  • Consideration for additional paid freelance work related to conference signage & program development.

 

All Finalists will receive

  • Recognition in the conference program, on the website, & through SSTESOL’s social media outlets.
  • Consideration for additional paid freelance work related to conference signage & program development.
