spring 2010 portfolio review show-n-tell

Last night’s students completing the graphics program participated in their portfolio review with industry professionals. It was a great experience for students who spent all semester refining their portfolio and preparing to begin working in the design industry. Students were interviewed by 2 to 3 industry professionals where they shared their portfolio work. The students learned a lot along the way about building a portfolio and next week they’ll be in class to share their portfolios and input about their portfolio review experience with those of you who may be getting ready to take the course or who are interested in seeing what a finished student design portfolio looks like.

If you’re interested here’s where we’ll be if you’d like to join our classes in a little “show-n-tell” experience that we do at the end of every semester:

Where: 1-214 east campus
When: Thursday, April 29, 2010 – 9-11am
Who: Anyone interested in checking out finished student porfolios. You will have an opportunity afterward to speak to students directly to ask questions about their experience.

This semester we had one of our largest groups of students and reviewers. A huge thanks go out to all professionals who volunteered their time and energy to give our students great feedback last night!
