RSVP for the Abbott Printing Workshop!

It’s what you’ve all been waiting for – the dates for the Abbott Printing workshop!
The workshops will be on Monday, December 6. There are two sessions that Monday:

1st session: 8am-10am
2nd session: 11am-1pm

There are now 5 spots open for a special Thursday 8am-10am session! This session was specifically reserved for the Graphic Repro students, but there are a few spots available now. So comment below if you want to attend the Thursday morning session.

Each workshop will consist of a 45 minute tour of the facilities and a 1 hour presentation/Q&A. You’ll get to see first hand how these presses and other machinery are run. Additionally, you’ll have an opportunity to ask some of those burning questions you have and learn more about the whole printing process. It’s one thing to read about it in a book, but it’s a completely different experience when you’re in that press room!

In order to secure your spot in one of these sessions, you MUST RSVP by commenting below. We realize we have quite a few of you interested in this workshop. Please note that due to the limitations of the space we’ll be working in we will only allow 16 total participants per session.

* To RSVP, post a comment with your First & Last name and state that you want Session 1 or Session 2.
* ONLY Valencia students, alumni and faculty will be permitted to attend.
* ONLY RSVP if you’re know you’ll be able to make it. If you happen to RSVP and something comes up – let us know that so we’ll have an accurate list.
* In the event that you have to cancel your reservation, your comment will be deleted so that your spot will be opened up to someone else.
