Would seem rather silly if they didn't.They just recently launched Valencia's new "potential" campaign. They've gotta have at least some sort of faith in our education if they were willing to take on the Valencia account. Otherwise they'd come out looking like hypocrites... "Yeah, we'll take your money, but not your students". If they turn you away, I recommend that be your argument. http://www.pushhere.com/blog/you-did-what-with-your-potential.html

if they turned away the valencia students, that would mean that they would be turning away people that have created some amazing/ award winning work

Well, I was having a conversation with eddie@misicka.com, brought up the above point, and well, he simply said, just because they did the Smokey Bones campaign, and not eat their food, does not simply make them hypocrites, -just food for thought

It's really just a morals/ethics battle, to tell the truth. Unfortunately, it often comes down to the money. Personally though, I don't like to get involved in a project that I don't believe in... cause then you just end up selling lies. Besides, our VCC students can stand up to these UCF/Full Sailors any day.

Well if it's any reassurance to all the VCC Graphics students, I recently talked to 2 well known creative directors. Both told me that they are disappointed with student's work from other local higher education institutions. I won't mention which because that's not the point. The point here is that they are however, very pleased with the work from VCC Graphics students! They find it surprising that a "community college" can churn out such great work compared to other 4 yr colleges. As we know, it's no surprise. So keep up the great work and know VCC students have a great reputation in the design community.
