JOB DESCRIPTION:
Production Artist

JOB SUMMARY:
Supports staff in completing updates and revisions to existing files and creates artwork for design,
advertising, and other projects. Pays meticulous attention to detail and has an uncanny gift for catching
any and all mistakes while preparing files for print. Thrives in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced
environment and remains calm while juggling multiple projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resizes page layout elements and produces multiple versions of layouts for the creative team
• Places and styles copy to spec or as otherwise directed
• Maintains all history of revisions
• Stays keenly aware of production deadlines and manages time accordingly
• Works closely with design team to implement changes in a timely manner
• Checks layout specs including bleed, trim, resolution, color space, and file management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Two to four years of related work experience preferred
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional technical-production skills
