Spring 08' internship opportunity with Monster Media

Monster Media, LLC. is looking for 6-10 graphic designers and interns. Graphic Designers and interns are mainly responsible for the creation of MonsterVision advertisements, approval pages and website upkeep.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce graphics and implement into interactive MonsterVision ads and systems
  • Graphic design for any print material, Turnstile AdSleeves
  • Web design for company material
  • Assist in the creation of ads, potentially develop concepts for ads
  • Graphically create mock ups, comps and storyboards for proposed creative concepts
  • Formulate new creative ideas and templates for MonsterVision ads
  • Assist other Monster Media departments with graphical needs
  • Record video of completed interactive ads and digitally archive
  • Set up approval pages of filmed ads on company website for clients
  • Assist in the tracking, organizing and logging of all creative assets

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Multitask oriented
  • Two (2) years of graphic design and layout experience
  • Highly organized and able to share projects
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with graphic design, design layout, typography and image retouching
  • Highly fluent and proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Flash and Actionscript
  • Experienced with Adobe Dreamweaver or similar web design editor; including html, css, xml and php
  • Must understand digital video and be competent with a variety of file formats and compression codecs
  • Proven ability to handle a high volume of detailed work and continuously prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
