Kudos from Cameron Moll
I wanted to share with you all an article Cameron Moll has written today discussing his experiences as a “Worn traveler”. Though Cameron has been busy travelling, attending & speaking at conferences, and with his many other obligations he’s taken a moment to remark on the outstanding work of our students. As you all are aware, he’s recently linked to our work in Flickr and he has now written the following about Valencia’s graphics program:
“On a final note, I’ve been in Florida twice the last month alone, and both times I’ve been close to Orlando, narrowly missing one of the state’s best kept secrets for aspiring graphic designers. Valencia Community College runs, from what I can tell, an impressive program for graphic design students, led by Amanda Kern and other talented professors. Recent student work seems to speak for itself: I, II, III, and IV.”
Many of you might know that we have a great reputation locally, however, we have lacked exposure outside of the central Florida area. That is until now. We are very proud and thrilled to share such great feedback with our students. Keep up the great work!
Thanks again Cameron for the kudos! We’ll keep our fingers crossed that we can convince you to come speak to our students in between your busy schedule sometime in the near future.
