Illustration Students' Work to Appear in OMA's 1st Thursdays

Very exciting news from Valencia Graphic’s Adjunct Professor, Martha Lent! The two graffiti panels that were constructed by her students in her Illustration course have been accepted into the Orlando Museum of Art’s First Thursday Series, featuring graffiti style work by local artists.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend the event, great exposure, great
portfolio content!!

Absolutely incredible for both the pragmatic (your resumé) and the ethos of your sense of design and the destiny you want your career to move towards. How few can say they are represented by a major museum so early in their career? Congratulations, this is fantastic news!

Congrats to everyone. Yes, unfortunately they will only be on display for that one day. That's kind of the theme behind FIRST THURSDAYS @ OMA. Hope you all can make it out. I'll b closing the lab :(

if you have business cards, bring them with you. i've been to first thursday's before and although it's a one night event, approximately 700 people tend to show up regularly.
