Hooah Interactive seeks Junior graphic designer

The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for the development, maintenance and implementation of a variety of assignments; their primary function will be to support the Art Director with running projects and collaborate with new ideas for incoming jobs from regular accounts as well as for new or potential clients. Salary range depends on experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Create digital assets for marketing collateral and assist in all phases of projects, including the creation and design of web-page layouts, product page layouts, social media campaign visuals, email templates and visuals to communicate product or service features
• Originate layouts using established templates (or create templates to be reviewed by Art Director)
• Develop web ads (static, animated and rich media)
• Produce content for landing pages, websites, etc. Image production and/or corrections, web content updates and edits Generate creative digital solutions
• Work closely and support the social media management teams and web developer
• Other duties to be assigned by Art Director, as needed

Education, experience and desired skills:

• Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or similar 2 years in a graphic design, web design or print design position (illustrator experience is a bonus!)
• Proficient with CS6 programs ( InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop )
• Demonstrates creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense for branding and integrating visual elements across multiple mediums in web, print, interactive, and social media assets
• Knowledge of typography and design principles
• Familiarity with developing promotional landing pages / web banners / enriched media banners with HTML, CSS, and print work
• Web development knowledge or experience; familiarity with Flash, jQuery or Javascript is a huge plus
• Fast-paced, well-organized and thrive in a high-volume, deadline-oriented place: time-management skills required
• Great interpersonal and communication skills; self-starter who also knows how to work as part of a team
• Microsoft Office skills required
• Familiarity with all things digital and social media required
