*high five* Valencia Graphics Students Win the Wiley Student Advertising Challenge!
Congratulations to Valencia Graphics Student, Lily Goldsmith, for winning this year’s Wiley Student Advertising Challenge: Texting & Driving Don’t Mix! Her powerful image involved hanging out in a cemetery with her camera until she snapped just the right photo. Once done, she added some “last texts sent” to the grave stones, making quite the impact by choosing the type of texts no one would want to claim as their “last words on this earth”.
Congratulations also goes to the Second Place winner, Valencia Graphics Student Kayla Rivera! Kayla travelled around town in her car until she found the perfect road sign for her idea that involved changing a curve ahead yield sign into arms/hands texting.
Nice work you two!! Spend your winnings wisely!
The Wiley Student Advertising Design Challenge is sponsored by Wiley Publishing, the publisher of “Advertising by Design” and textbook author, Robin Landa. Information and announcements regarding the competition can be found on the competition Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/designchallenge
