Brief Job description
New multimedia product being rolled out in 8 months.
Need Photoshop skills pertaining to web-layout, retouching, gathering and creating assets for video, flash, print layout.. etc.

Photoshop skills are a must. Looking for good design sense and fresh ideas. Motion Graphics / Video oriented projects are being produced on a continuous timeline. Editing skills and motion graphic skills using After Effects or Final Cut is a plus in this position.

Print ads, Web Pages and Ad Banners will be high demand projects.

This company has growing staff of 16 people. 3 on Graphics / Video. They have been in business for 7 years. Also have a full 3 camera studio with green screen compositing and live switcher.

I could handle all of your retouching for an extremely reasonable $60hr. So you won't have to pay a full timer. And in order to "properly" retouch you need to be an expert at that and only that. Good retouching takes some dedication and time. One who gets pulle din a lot of directions may not give it their all. I will... Give me a call! You gotta be kidding me Wendy, your website is horrid and retouching photos is cake especially with new programs like lightroom. Just because you work for clients in New York doesn't qualify you as an expert of anything. What there looking for is a solid graphic designer that knows there shit not just one set of skills. My apologies Wendy if our job description is not specific enough. At this time the website is not a company issue. We need a full time employee as we are pursuing a much larger project that is going to take much much more time and skill than a simple website facelift. Thank you for your interest, though.

wow joe, kinda harsh. I thought some of Wendy's retouches were pretty good, even if her skills don't fall under the project requirements. As for her website, it does need work, but as she mentioned, she only works with photo modification. As for Lightroom, it's just a beefed up Adobe Elements. Knowing how to run pre-built filters and actual photo re-touching are two different things. Like web design and myspace. Or even better MS Word "export to HTML" to Dreamweaver.
