Book Cover Design Competition

Extended Deadline is September 18, 2009!!

To enter, send a pdf of your design to HowToPutYourBookTogether@gmail.com along with your full name, school, and expected graduation year.

Your design should be 8.5 x 11 (portrait) and should include the following copy:

• How to Put Your Book Together and Get a Job in Advertising
• Maxine Paetro
• Revised Edition

You may submit a pdf, jpg, or tiff for preliminary consideration (although a pdf is preferable), but must be prepared to submit a high resolution (300 dpi) file in InDesign, Quark, Photoshop, etc, if your cover is selected.

Please be wary of permission issues involving artwork (i.e., getting art from an online stock house is fine, as long as it is royalty-free, but please don’t grab art willy-nilly off the internet, as this could lead to permissions trouble down the line).

The winner will receive $500.00 and his/her design will be printed as the cover of the newest edition of “How To Put Your Book Together and Get a Job in Advertising”, to be published in 2010.

First and Second runners-up will receive $300.00 and $200.00 respectively and will be credited in the book.
