Arts & Cultural Alliance Needs Graphics Interns

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for designing brand-specific graphics for print and web; taking marketing directives and developing graphical branding as needed; using existing graphical branding to layout web pages or print pieces; learning and utilizing email marketing software as necessary; designing a variety of brand-specific items including but not limited to brochures, letterhead, business cards, website pages, e-letters, ads and promotional materials; and facilitating communication with third parties (i.e. printing companies).

Preferred qualifications:

• Proficient software knowledge including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Dreamweaver, and HTML.
• Be able to effectively communicate with our marketing director and ask questions when necessary
• Create designs that are innovative and fun while understanding and communicating business objectives
• Be able to meet deadlines defined by management as well as setting your own deadlines as necessary
• Share a passion for the arts industry
• Demonstrate ability to contribute positively in a team environment
• Possess a general understanding of the various arts disciplines
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills with multi-tasking ability and an ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
