Are you up for a rerun of the internship orientation?

We’ve had a number of you mention to us that you missed the last internship orientation for this upcoming semester. So guess what – we’re going to have another one! Whether you’re planning to register for an internship this coming fall semester or you’re simply dying to know what’s involved in getting an internship this meeting is for you.

If you missed the Graphics Mandatory Orientation Meeting this summer, don’t fret! You can still attend the orientation scheduled for the beginning of the Fall semester. Here’s the info:

WHEN: Thursday, August 31st, 2006, 1-2pm
WHERE: East Campus, Bldg 1 room 214

Here are a few important steps to follow so that you may register for an internship:

• Visit the internship web site or contact their office at 407.582.2762, East Campus, building 5 room 230
• Complete all prerequisites: Completion of all prep courses, 12 college credit hours, SLS 1303 and a minimum grade of C in GRA 2182C (Advanced Graphic Design 2) or GRA 2143 (Advanced Web Design)
• Apply online
• Attend the mandatory orientation on August 31st

Once you have attended the orientation, applied and received acceptance, you get a special registration from Barbara Peterson. This is the ONLY way you can register for GRA 2942 Graphics Internship. (note: the registration period for internships exceed normal registration times).
