Valencia closes August 30th due to Tropical Storm Ernesto

Valencia Community College will be closed on Wednesday August 30, due to the anticipated impact of Tropical Storm Ernesto. All classes at all College locations are cancelled on that date. We anticipate that all classes and operations will resume on Thursday, August 31. Students and staff are urged to monitor local radio and television stations, as well as the College’s website, www.valenciacc.edu. Students and staff may also call Valencia’s emergency and information numbers at 407-582-1691 or 407-582-1692, for the latest update regarding re-opening of the College.

Valencia plans to resume regular operation on Thursday, August 31, 2006, at all College locations. Faculty, staff and students should follow normal work and class schedules.

We hope that everyone is prepared for themselves and their families. We look forward to seeing you back on Thursday.

Yeah I was actually looking forward to school today since I have no work to do right now per se. Now I am going to be stuck at home all day surfing the net and watching everything I have on Tivo! I guess it's not to bad.
