Chinese Element International Competition 2006

The 2006 Chinese Element International Competition is being organized by the China Advertising Association member, for the purpose of enhancing Chinese design talent and providing opportunities for interchange with international designers. The goal is to interpret China on a creative and design level, maybe more than a symbol. The competition is open to designers from all regions and countries. Anyone may apply regardless of whether they are corporate or private individuals, freelancer designers, in-house corporate designers, students etc. Works are restricted to the concept of Chinese Element. Grand Prize: 10,000USD. Participation in the competition is free of charge.
This competition has multiple categories to include: photography, graphic design, object design (books, products, packaging), Chinese character, and animation.

    Wow, this sounds really interesting. One of my main interests is Asian culture and humanities so I may give this a shot! Should be some interesting entries!
