I Love Orlando seeks Production Coordinator

Growing publishing company, I Love Orlando, is looking for a positive, proactive employee who desires to learn all aspects of magazine publishing. The Production Coordinator will work closely with the sales and production teams to coordinate advertisements and design for multiple magazines.

Responsibilities include coordinating sales team and clients with art work, creating and organizing ad approvals, “specing” ad layouts, interacting with clients, creating ads, trafficking production of in-house creative services, coordinating final production and pre-press functions.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Possess teamwork attributes
  • Ability to design ads and layout of pages
  • Assist with production schedules
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Macintosh platform Quark XPress, Illustrator, and PhotoShop
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite 3 and Quark XPress
  • Excellent proofreader
  • Ability to update web site using Adobe Contribute
  • Coordinate between sales, design, and clients
  • Contribute to production of magazines from client ad approvals, ad layout, proofing, and pagination
