What advanced courses do you NEED this summer?

Dear Advanced Graphics Students,

Due to low enrollment in the past, the Graphics program generally does not offer advanced level courses during the summer semesters. This semester, due to program growth, we are curious as to whether or not there are enough students needing to take these advanced courses next semester (Summer 2008).

We have provided a link at the end of this paragraph to a survey you can take to let us know your needs. Please keep in mind we are only wanting to hear from students who have already taken the prerequisites for these courses and NEED to take them this summer.       Ryan (and others that may comment) - be sure you take the survey listed above. We are determining the need based on the survey results. But of course we have no problems with you posting comments too - just know we're only counting the numbers from the survey.

      Pending if this term goes well, (all of) the above courses I wouldn't mind taking during the Summer depending on when the class would be held. p.s. took the survey prior to posting this.

      I really hope that the three classes I need open up for the summer. If not, I will not graduate on time.:( I was really counting on taking these three courses (Advance Web Page Design, Interactive Design II and CSS Design) because I've already left my job to graduate in the fall. Those are the only classes I have left before Portfolio and the Internship. I surely hope that they open up. Thanks for the venting session. John

      Kristy, you rock. Thanks for posting the survey. It appears that a lot of people are in the same boat. I would actually take all of these classes... but the ones that I am looking for now is Advanced II, Repro, Digital Video and Sound, Advanced Web and either CSS or Interactive II. I think that John and I are in the same boat. These are my last classes prior to Portfolio and Internship. When do you think that we will have the results of the survey back? Wendy

      hi jenifer. just wanted to make sure you are aware that you must take advanced graphic design 1 BEFORE you can take advanced graphic design 2. the reason why advanced graphic design 1 isn't listed is because it is already offered every summer. we are only needing to know which advanced courses we normally don't offer during the summer semester might need to be offered. :-)

      I have a quicdk question on this. I submitted the survey last week with the courses I am hoping to take over the Summer (CSS Design and Interactive Design II). They have the course offerings for Summer listed as view only right now which I know that means when they open it up for registration that things can change. The the advanced courses that were mentioned are not listed yet. Any idea if any of them will be offered? Just trying to preplan...:-)
