2007 ADDYs Final Results

I’ve been meaning for a while to provide you all with the overview of 2007 District and National (yes, National!) ADDY Award results for Valencia students.

If you recall, earlier this year our students swept the ADDYs on the local level by winning 22 of the 29 total ADDYs awarded. All local Gold ADDYs automatically advanced onto the district level of the competition and from the District level Gold ADDYs were advanced onto the National level (Silver awards were advanced by paying an additional fee).

This year, Valencia students made their presence known on the District level by winning a total of 9 awards (4 Golds and 5 Silvers). Of the 3 Golds that advanced to the National level, one Silver was awarded. This is the first year that a Valencia student has won a National ADDY!
