Internship Summary:
Enzian and the Florida Film Festival have an immediate opening for a Graphic
Design/Marketing intern. Candidate will assist with projects and activities for in-print and online design pieces as well as social media and traditional marketing projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the Enzian/FFF marketing head with the creation of promotional flyers, newsletters, online graphics, logos and other materials for year-round Enzian programming and the international film festival.
• Assist with social media marketing efforts. Candidate must be adept with Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter and must have excellent writing and research skills.
• Assist in implementing public relations programs and special events.

Education and/or Experience:

• Pursuing a major in Graphic Design or related major
• Pursuing a minor in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or related minor
• Experience with developing and successfully executing graphic design projects
• Experience with entertainment industry marketing strategies and/or event planning

Computer Skills

• Adobe and Creative Suite Design software
• Knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
• Knowledge of Contact Management systems
• Knowledge of basic HTML

Language Skills

• Ability to write effective email correspondence and communicate successfully over the phone

Compensation
This internship is unpaid. Candidate will be compensated with several employee perks including: free admission into all Enzian film programming, free admission into all Enzian special events, discounts on Enzian food and beverage, invitations to various community events (networking opportunities), allotted entrance to film screenings, invitations to select parties and special events during the 2010 Florida Film Festival, and invitations to exclusive press screening or pre-screening events for Enzian and the Festival.

The Florida Film Festival is the premier showcase in Central Florida for American
independent and international film. The 19th annual Florida Film Festival, taking place April 9-18, 2010, is a celebration of films and filmmakers, offering indulgent experiences in food and wine, parties, and special events.

The Festival, which debuted in 1992, is a core program of ENZIAN, a nonprofit cultural organization founded in 1985. ENZIAN and the Florida Film Festival have served more than 1.5 million guests and hosted Academy Award winning celebrities including Paul Newman, Oliver Stone, Christopher Walken, Jon Voight, Cliff Robertson, Rod Steiger, and Haskell Wexler.
