Orlando AIGA SPOT Scholarship Winner Is…

Congratulations to this year’s mentee with the most ‘spots’ and winner of the Orlando AIGA SPOT scholarship, Valencia Graphics student, Daissy Linares!

Each year, the Orlando AIGA sponsors a mentorship program where qualified students (mentees) are paired up with local professionals (mentors) to develop work for their portfolios. At the end of their mentorship, student participants exhibit their work at an event called SPOT where event attendees jury the exhibition by placing ‘spots’ next the the work they vote as being the best. At the end of the evening, the work with the most ‘spots’ wins.

If you’re a student or professional who is interested in participating in future SPOT events as a mentor, mentee, a guest speaker or a portfolio reviewer, please get in touch with the Orlando AIGA through their website: orlando.aiga.org.

I can't believe you were nervous. You always do great. Don't you know who you are? Well you should now, along with many other local AIGA professionals. Congrats Daissy. Hold it down for the mothership (VCC).
